Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Abayomi Solomon came into the world through a remarkable story that revealed God’s hand over his life from day one. Raised by a prayerful mother and later shaped by the faith of his grandfather, Abayomi developed a deep desire to know and serve God. After his grandfather’s passing, he came to personally receive Christ with the help of his sister.

A husband, father of three, and lifelong worshipper, Abayomi has served in church music ministry for over 30 years—as a singer, leader, assistant choir master, choir master, and keyboardist. His love for worship began early, and he discovered his gift for songwriting while part of the group Glory Landers, where he wrote two songs that would later appear on his first album.

Years later, God stirred his heart to write again. Through prayer, personal worship, and encouragement from family and friends, Abayomi wrote most of the songs on his album “None Like the I AM.” Each song reflects his journey with God and his desire to help others experience the love, faithfulness, and presence of the great I AM.
